Birthday/Christmas Cake

Okay so I was walking up the street to work on Christmas Eve and my Uncle bumps into me and asks me would I mind decorating the cake for his wife's birthday which is Christmas Day. As one of the "creative" ones in the family things like this can often happen so I said "Sure why not?", bearing in mind that I'd never done this before. So this is what I came up with. I have to say I'm very proud of the result having been a cake-decorating virgin. Actually I don't think this is the work of a cake decorator. It is illustration on a cake. I have now added to my list of mediums for illustration. Paper, a ceramic plate, a t-shirt, a cake.....Oh by the way the purple icing actually has glitter in it, I don't know how edible it is, but it's made by Barbie so I'm sure it's fine!!!
